Title: Modelling Urban Mobility at Scale: From Traffic Microsimulation to Digital Twin
Bio: Professor Ronghui Liu, Professor of Networks and Transport Operations, at the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), Universityof Leeds, UK. She received her BSc from Peking University and PhD from Cambridge University. Before joining ITS Leeds, she was a Research Fellow at University College London, and while at ITS, she was seconded to head the Transport Modelling Division at TRL, UK in 2005. She served as an Associate Editor for journal IEEE Transaction on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Member of Editorial Board of IET Journal of Intelligent Transport. Her research areas span a number of themes in the field of transport studies: in vehicle dynamics and traffic microsimulaton model developments; in traffic control theory and algorithms; in travel behaviour and Intelligent mobility; in stochastic models and reliability analysis; in public transport operations and controls; in timetabling and schedule coordination; and in train control and railway traffic management systems. She is particularly interested in the interrelationships between these themes, and methodologies for estimation, design and evaluation of their network-wide effects. She has led various projects totaling nearly €5 million and published over 100 papers in top international transportation journals, including Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part B, Transportation Research Part C, and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, among others.
Title: Advanced Multimodal Network Simulation with Generative Models and Parallel Computing for Large-Scale Transportation Systems

Bio: Dr. Xiaozheng He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Assistant Director of the Center of Excellence for Sustainable Urban Freight Systems. His research focuses on transportation network modeling and system analysis, including traffic management algorithms, connected and automated vehicle systems, infrastructure resilience, alternative fuel vehicle integration, and vehicular network control. He currently serves on the editorial board of Transportation Research Part B, is a Subject Editor for Nonlinear Dynamics, and a frequent guest editor for SCI-indexed journals. He is the Co-Chair of theTraffic Network Analysis and Optimization Committee for the World Transport Convention, a member of TRB’s Standing Committee on Transportation Network Analysis, and Board Member of the Intelligent Transportation Society of New York State. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the IEEE ITSC Best Paper Award, the Transportation Science Meritorious Service Award, andthe NSF CAREER Award.
Title: Cross-modal deep learning methods for travel demand prediction
Bio: Dr. Wei Liu is currently an Associate Head and Associate Professor, Presidential Young Scholar at the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before this, he was a faculty member at University of New South Wales, Sydney in Australia and University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. He also worked as a Researcher at Ecole Polytechnique Federale deLausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Dr. Liu received his PhD in Transportation from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2014, and his BEng in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Laws from Tsinghua University in 2010. Dr. Liu specializes in data-driven decision analytics; large-scale transport system modeling, optimization and computing; aviation and rail system modeling; and transport economics, with more than 100 papers published in SCI/SSCI indexed journals, such as Transportation Research, Transportation Science and IEEE Transaction on ITS. Dr. Liu’s research has attracted funding from the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Australian Research Council, Innovation and Technology Commission of Hong Kong, Hong Kong’s MTR Research Funding Scheme, and Guangdong Science and Technology Department. He is a recipient of the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award from the Australian Research Council, and has been listed in World’s Top 2% Most-cited Scientists 2024 (both single year impact and career-long impact).

报告人简介:镇璐,上海大学管理学院、教授。国家杰出青年科学基金、国家优秀青年科学基金与教育部“青年长江学者”获得者。1999~2008年就读于上海交大,获学士与博士学位。后赴新加坡国立大学从事博士后研究,于2011年3月就职上海大学管理学院,先后于2011年10月、2012年11月破格晋升为副教授、教授,于2019年11月至今担任管理学院院长。近年来在:管理科学学报、OR、TS、POM、IISE等国内外知名学术期刊发表论文252篇(其中,一作或通讯 229篇)。先后主持国家自科青年基金C类(2011)、青年基金B类(2014)、面上(2016)、重点(2018)、青年基金A类(2020)、重点国合(2022)、重大课题(2023)等7项国家级项目;结项项目绩效评估均为“优”或“特优”。研究成果曾荣获:教育部2022年度自然科学二等奖(独立完成人)、教育部第八届人文社科二等奖(独立完成人)、教育部第九届人文社科三等奖(第一完成人)、第十四届上海市哲社优秀成果一等奖(独立完成人)、二等奖(第一完成人)等。受邀担任国际A档期刊《Transportation Research Part B》、国际B档期刊《Computers & Operations Research》、《Journal of the Operational Research Society》等五本SCI/SSCI国际期刊的副编辑和编委等。

报告人简介:张水潮,宁波工程学院,博士,教授,注册城市规划师。全国城市道路交通文明畅通提升行动计划专家组专家、宁波市城市科学研究会副会长等学术兼职,浙江省151人才、浙江省高校领军人才、宁波市领军人才。主要从事交通工程领域的科研和教学工作,研究方向为道路交通数智管控、智能网联与车路协同、交通基础设施数字化等。主持国家自然科学基金项目及国际科技合作项目等国家级课题2项,主持浙江省自然科学基金项目等省部级课题6项,主持横向应用课题30余项;发表SCI/EI收录论文20余篇;授权国家发明专利5项;出版专著和教材4部;曾获中国自动化学会技术进步奖、中国智能交通协会科学技术奖、宁波市科技进步奖等学术奖励。

报告人简介:王晓蕾,同济大学经济与管理学院教授。2008年本科毕业于中国科技大学(获郭沫若奖学金),2012年博士毕业于香港科技大学(获HKUST SENG PhD ResearchExcellence Award)。一直致力于城市交通系统优化领域的研究,主要研究兴趣:共享出行服务运营优化以及共享出行下的城市交通管理。在交通领域主要SCI/SSCI期刊发表论文30余篇,其中15篇发表于INFORMSJournal on Computing、TransportationResearch Part B、TransportationScience等运筹、交通领域顶刊,篇均引用80+;主持国家自然科学基金重点、优青、面上和青年项目、CCF-滴滴盖亚青年基金项目,创新群体“综合运输系统运营管理”项目骨干成员;世界交通运输大会共享与预约出行技术委员会主席,管理科学与工程学会交通运输管理分会委员,交通领域主要期刊Transportation Research Part E编委。

报告人简介: 谭志加,华中科技大学管理学院教授、博士生导师;主要研究方向包括航运系统建模与优化、交通基础设施投融资理论、城市交通网络优化与分析等;发表学术论文60多篇,包括交通运输领域国际顶级及权威期刊《Transportation Science》、《Transportation Research Part B、C、D、E》等,主持国家自然科学基金项目、省部级项目近10项,入选国家青年人才计划。
Title: EvaCast: Accurate and Fast Evacuation Process Forecasting for Buil Environment
Bio: Ma Jian is a full professor, director of the Key Laboratory of Traffic Safety Technology and vice dean of the Institute of Smart City and Intelligent Transportation, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree in safety engineering and a double bachelor's degree incomputer science. Professor Ma received his Ph.D degree jointed awarded by the University of Science and Technology of China and City University of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Society of Public Safety Science and Technology, and are presentative member of the National Public Safety Basic StandardizationTechnical Committee (SAC/TC 351). He is an Advisory and Editorial Board Member of international journals including Physica A, Scientific Reports and Collective Dynamics. He also served more than 20 internal journals as a reviewer including PNAS Nexus, Transportation Research Part B. His research interests cover pedestrian and evacuation dynamics, risk analysis and intelligent trafficsystem.

报告人简介:丁川,北京航空航天大学教授、博士生导师,现任智能交通技术与系统教育部重点实验室常务副主任。哈尔滨工业大学博士,美国马里兰大学联合培养博士,香港浸会大学博士后。主要从事道路交通系统建模与运行调控研究,主持国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学面上项目等,以一作或通讯发表SCI论文50余篇,参编制定国家标准2项,连续多年入选爱思唯尔中国高被引学者。主持的研究成果获住建部华夏建设科学技术一等奖1项、中国地理信息科技进步一等奖1项,被评中国公路青年科技奖、中国交通运输协会科技创新青年奖等荣誉。教学方面主持中国交通教育研究会重点项目1项,讲授国家级一流本科课程1门和校级课程思政示范课1门,获国家教学成果奖一等奖1项。兼任《Transportation ResearchPart D》副主编,《IEEETransactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems》副主编。入选教育部青年长江学者、交通运输部科技创新青年拔尖人才、交通运输部青年科技英才等国家和省部级人才计划。
Title: End-to-End Optimization with Neural Networks for the Data-Driven Train Scheduling Problem

Bio: Jiateng Yin is a professor at the School of Systems Science, Beijing Jiaotong University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2012 and 2018, respectively. He held visiting positions at the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems, ETH Zurich (2019), the Center for Transportation & Logistics, MIT (2024) and the Institute of Operations Research and Analytics, National University of Singapore (2024-2025). His research interests include transportation engineering, railway operations, and data-driven optimization, with over 50 publications in journals such as TR-B/C/E, JOC, EJOR and NRL. He currently serves as a guest editor and editorial board member for Transportation Research Part C. He received several awards, involving the Distinguished Young Scholars of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2023), INFORMS Best paper award (Railway Application Section, 2023) and Second prizeof Beijing Natural Science Award, 2023.
